Gross eye update

I thought my recent eye problem was ok, and I was even considering wearing contacts again, but today the weirdest things have been happening with my eye. It feels as if the parts that connect my eye to, well, whatever it is connected to keep twitching. It is really painful! I am not going to the general dr anymore about this. I have a referral waiting for me at the specialist and I am going to use it tomorrow. When I tried to look in the mirror, it almost looks like the part I scratched is swollen… like a weird bump on my eyeball. Sigh. Sorry for the complaining. But at least this time I spared you the picture ;-)

That sounds really painful, and for lack of a better word, yuck. Does it affect your vision?

Hi Cathy,
yes, it does a little. I had an eye exam about two months ago and got my new glasses the day that this happened. Already the vision in that eye is fuzzy with my new glasses :-(
It is feeling a bit better now, but I am not going to chance using lenses for a while longer.
