First day of first grade

Today we went to the first day of first grade!
I LOVE first days of school. I was the kid that bought my school supplies a month in advance and still love the smell of freshly sharpened pencils (mechanical pencils never really did the same thing for me). I hope to pass that same love of school on to my kids so I bounce with them along on their first day and talk about how school is so fun and how they are the best days of your life and how it is the most important thing they will ever do…
I think they get it :-)
